AAAC October Weekend Club Run - SUNDAY 20th OCTOBER 2024 Watching the BAY TO BIRDWOOD from Gummeracha
As we did last year we are going to setup as a club at the roadside in Gummeracha and enjoy the B2B cars go past, and cheer on the AAAC members in the event.
So join us watching the Bay to Birdwood 20th Oct.
Members that wish to view the Bay to Birdwood Run as a group we will gather at this bus stop (Lew's Café) in Gumeracha.
There is plenty of parking in Gumeracha Oval grounds, clean toilets close. John Badcock will be there early.
So bring a chair, snacks and drinks enjoy the run with friends.
First vehicles appear around 9.30ish, access is from either direction. See you there.

AAAC Run in this years Motorfest - MONDAY 21st October 2024- ELYSIAN SPRINGS VINEYARD VISIT
Join us for a leisurely drive through the Adelaide Hills to the famous Rocking Horse for an optional morning tea
then on to Mount Pleasant to the vineyard for a lovely BBQ lunch and optional wine tastings.
No Limits to people entering this event.
This event is being organised by our own club members John Badcock & Edd Gray, so please consider entering this event to show your support.

November 17th 2024 Weekend Run -Progressive Lunch Run
For those of you that may have never experienced a AAA progressive lunch run…. then this will be a first for you as it was a very popular run in the years gone by, and was always a highlight of the club calendar
For those that do remember those days, it will follow the traditional format in order to celebrate the clubs 40 years…..and with your old original club hosts
There has been a mention of this run at the last few meetings and there are already 40+ interested
For the run, we will be heading to the hills area of Adelaide, meeting somewhere TBA in the Eastern suburbs and travelling to a morning tea stop, onto a lunch stop and then an afternoon tea stop
At each stop you will be provided with some yummy food, all sponsored by the club… and yes it’s all FREE
Morning tea…..Soup and fresh bread roll (Margarine will be provided)
Lunch…..Pasty, Pie or Sausage roll, you will need to make a choice for catering purposes (sauce will be available)
Afternoon tea….a choice of cake or cheesecake, again please choose for catering
You will need to provide the following besides you own tea, coffee and drinks
Soup mug, a plate for your lunch and plate/bowl for your afternoon tea and your own eating utensils, bibs etc.
Names and food choice will be taken at each meeting until November

December 8th 2024 Weekend Run -Memorial Run and XMAS Catered Luncheon organised by Committee
If you enjoyed last years City based Memorial Run organised by Steve McNicol with Railway based quiz, he has something else up his sleeve for this years run. It promises to be a fun event!
Then to round off the year of 40th anniversary activities we are having a club subsidized catered luncheon to end off our 40th year celebrations.

The meal will be a baked potato, cheese, and sour cream, with smoked pulled pork and pulled beef, grilled sweetcorn and salads.
Desert is fruit salad and ice-cream. Soft drinks will also be supplied.
Bring your own plates and cutlery, picnic tables and chairs.
If you intend on going to this event, please add your name(s) to the list which will be available at the general meetings until November.
This will help us properly cater for the number of our members at the luncheon.
