JOIN THE COMMITTEE   WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR NEW PEOPLE TO JOIN OUR COMMITTEE We are getting to that time of the year when the canvassing of roles for the committee begins. As you will all know, all positions on the committee are declared vacant at the AGM. Please ask any member of the committee what is involved in these roles, or better still, ask to attend a committee meeting as a…

ABOUT THE CLUB ABOUT THE CLUB
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AAAC Bruce Rounsefell, Alan Kohler and Arthur Doecke cutting the 36th Birthday cake at the Feb 2020 General meeting About the Club: The AAAC started in February 1984 thanks to 3 or 4 people who wanted to start a metropolitan car club different from other clubs of the day. They wanted an all make car club that included families and friends in its activities, and to have frequent car runs to allow the member's participation. The AAAC aims to promote the restoration and more importantly the use of historic vehicles with the whole family joining in and enjoying fun outings and other social events. The club meets at 8pm on the 3rd Friday of each month except December at the Combined Car Club (CCC) rooms at Clark Avenue Glandore Ea…

THE RULE WAS:- If the temperature is 35 degress or above*, there will be no organised club run. However if you wish to participate on any run it will be voluntary, your choice. This does not apply to the Christmas run. (* Temp as broadcast on Channel 7 TV News, on the Saturday evening, Prior to a run.)   …
